Having recently done some 'serious' trekking in the Borneo jungle (eight hours a day with 20kg packs), I have developed a thirst for this type of adventure holiday. Can anyone recommend tour operators who can offer me a similar standard of trekking in the Amazon? Is it possible to do such a trip independently?
