Do you take any vitamins or supplements? Not vitamins - I'm quite cynical about natural remedies.

Do you prefer healthy food or fast food? Healthy, healthy, healthy. My wife and I eat a lot of salad. We tend to stock the fridge with the stuff and just chuck it in a bowl in the evening.

Have you ever dieted? Sport counts as a diet of some description, though, usually, it's not about how little you can eat but how much. It's trying to get the carbs in and all that stuff. My wife tells me I should be on one now - I am training a lot less, so the tendency is to get big and flabby.

Do you take any exercise? I did the marathon last month, so was doing a lot of running. Normally I'd do a balance of cycling, running, maybe swimming, gym - I pick and choose.

How do you chill out? My wife's pregnant, so going out isn't much of an option. I've had a couple of weeks of travelling about, so am looking forward to a few days at home.

What foods do you have in your shopping trolley? Hummus, for some reason - I don't particularly like it, but my wife loves it. Lots of vegetables, lettuce and tomatoes.

What have you eaten today? Two sandwiches for lunch; that's about it.

Any vices? Chocolate.
