Two more Scottish children have been treated for the deadly E coli bacterium after a second outbreak.
They attend the Dreams daycare nursery in Insch, Aberdeenshire. They were diagnosed with the infection at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow but not admitted.
An adult is being treated at home. The infections come after another outbreak at a nursery school in Fife, which resulted in five children being admitted to hospital, and the possible infection of 23 adults who are also being treated at home.
At this stage it is not known whether the two outbreaks are related.
