Sharon Parsons has been reappointed as editor of Bauer Media's monthly health and well-being magazine Top Sante.

Parsons, who edited the magazine between 1997 and 2000 under previous owners Emap, rejoined the title as a consultant in November.

She will replace Marina Crook who left the title in October after being in the role for just over a year.

In addition to her previous time editing Top Sante, Parsons has held a number of other editor roles.

After leaving Emap in 2000, she joined IPC Media's Home & Ideas as editor, then rejoined Emap in 2002 as editor of Period Homes and Traditional Living.

She also spent two years as editor of Archant's The English Home magazine.

Bauer Media, which has a portfolio of consumer magazines including Heat, Closer and Grazia, said the new appointment coincided with a shift in editorial focus of the 40-something women's title to more content on well-being, nutrition and beauty.

According to most recent circulation figures from ABC, Top Sante distributed a monthly average of 92,981 in the first half of 2008.
